In 2011, the U.S. Department of Education recognized Paris School’s high academic achievement by awarding our school the Blue Ribbon Schools Award for educational excellence.
Paris School was of only two schools in all of Wisconsin to receive this prestigious and coveted award that year!

  • OUR SCHOOL DISTRICT’S ACHIEVEMENT EXCEEDS NATIONAL EXPECTATIONS

Paris School’s overall score of 79 falls within the EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS rating on the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). Often called the “Nation’s Report Card,” this rating is the largest continuing assessment of what students nationwide know and can do in core subjects.

The Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Evaluation (WKCE) standardized test is given to students in grades 3-8 each year and is used to determine four priority score rankings on Wisconsin’s School Report Card: Student Achievement, Student Growth, Closing the Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness.

Our most recent 2013 scores are listed below. This data is analyzed by Paris School’s administration to tailor our educational practices
to meet the needs of all Paris School learners.

  • STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT: 84.4% at the significantly exceeds expectations level. State average = 67.1%.
  • STUDENT GROWTH: 66.3% at the meets expecations level.
    State average = 69.4%.
  • CLOSING THE GAP: 64.9% at the meets expectations level.
    State average = 65.4%.
  • ON-TRACK POST-SECONDARY READINESS: 93.4% at the
    significantly exceeds expectations level.
    State average = 88.0%
