We’re proud of our past…

we take pride in our longstanding history in the heart of our close-knit, rural community.
We are a school with roots that reach back
for generations.

Education in Paris township dates back to 1842, the year the Town of Paris was organized. For the next 104 years, Paris township students attended one of thirteen small schools that dotted the neighboring countryside. In 1946, Paris Consolidated Grade School, Joint District No.1, was formed. At that time, the Paris School Board voted to operate the
five remaining schools in the district and to sell three old schools at auction. The profit from the sale of these schools was placed in a building fund for the future construction of a single, centrally located school for our community. Hailed by the Kenosha News in October 1949 as “…Kenosha county’s first consolidated rural school,” the newly built Paris Consolidated Grade School housed three classrooms, a cafeteria,
an office, and a boiler room. Three additions in the past and a renovation in recent years have produced the K-8 building that Paris School students attend today.

…and excited about our future!

STILL TODAY, WE retain the simple, positive values rooted in our quaint history: Work hard. Do your best. Be kind. Be helpful. Share.

The exceptional academic and social environment Paris School educators cultivate makes a positive difference for our students. Our students are excited to come to school and they maintain exceptional attendance rates. They are eager to learn, are superior achievers, and think it’s cool to be smart! Paris School students of all grades know each other by name. Paris School kids behave attentively and respectfully, whether at school or away on an academic meet, field trip, or sporting event. Most definitely, our school-wide “Panther Pride” code of conduct guides Paris School students not only within our school walls, but
also within their hearts.

Our future, like our students, is bright!

Progressive administration, educators, and staff at the top of their field work tirelessly to ensure Paris School students receive the best academic advantages possible: interactive technology in EVERY classroom, challenging curriculum, differentiated instruction, specialized support services, unique and engaging special programming and co-curriculars. As a result, Paris School students achieve at a superior level:

  • We are a proud recipient of the U.S. Department of Education’s Blue Ribbon Schools Award for Academic Excellence.

Today, Paris School remains the heart of our peaceful, rural community. We invite you to take a personal tour our school and see firsthand what makes Paris School simply THE BEST place for kids!
